Teacher Resources

Hope the first two days meeting your students went well.  :)

There are some free resources that may help you save time in your classrooms.

• teacherspayteachers.com
• http://www.teachersnotebook.com/

Although you register and join each of these sites,  it will be certainly worth your time, in sha Allah.  There are materials from grades Pre K-12.  There are MANY free downloadable resources with no limits on the number of downloads per day. If you create your own materials,  you may sell them on these sites as well.

My favorite is  teacherspayteachers.com .  Hope this helps make your finding teaching resources easier for you.

Lesson plans

Assalaamu alaikum,

Writing lesson plans can be a chore, but not when there are so many resources available on the internet.

Madame Sarr has asked for specific details in the lesson plans.   Here is the template I have been using this year.

Some suggestions:

Google in English.

•  When you are looking for something specific (unless it is for your french class)  or a new teaching concept Mme Sarr mentions.

Don't wait until the last day before the deadline.

• There are so many details to be included.
• You may need to print, or photocopy.
• The power or electricity may go out

Here are some links to free lesson plans.
